Pár része már az idővel, a dátummal, ezek kifejezésével, hasznos szavaikkal foglalkoztunk. Mai napon újabb hasznos kifejezéseket hoztam, amit a példa alapján akár használhattok is! Nézzük is:

meaning: in modern times
magyarul:napjainkban, manapság

meaning: eventually
magyarul:nem sokára
example:
The roses will bloom in due course. – Nem sokára virágba borulnak a rózsák.
at the last minute
meaning: almost too late
magyarul:az utolsó pillanatban
example:
The ambulance arrived at the last minute. – A mentő az utolsó pillanatban érkezett.

meaning: almost too late

example:
We turned in the report at the eleventh hour. – Az utolsó pillanatban adtuk be a jelentést.

meaning: time flies
magyarul:repül az idő
example:
As time goes by we have to pay more and more attention to our kids. – Ahogy repül az idő, egyre több figyelmet kell fordítanunk gyermekeinkre.

meaning: time is precious
magyarul:az idő pénz
example:
Time is money, so please do not lose my time! – Az idő pénz, szóval ne húzd az időmet!

meaning: if something needs doing it’s better to do now, or else it can get worse
magyarul: mindent a maga idejében, ha időben javítasz meg valamit, akkor elkerülöd, hogy rosszabb legyen
example:
